In this pivotal episode, the party meets Aldond Talendar in the Inner Sanctum of Sakkors. The Source leave’s Sonya’s body for the new mythallar that Aldond and and his Shadar-kai have constructed (with the help of the Raven Queen). And just before all hell breaks loose, the mythallar teleports away to Selgaunt.
The crew heads along just north of the Dawnpost from Yeven’s Shrine. Eventually, they make it to the destruction that was formerly the capital- Ordulin. There they encounter the Shadar-kai, led by their leader Kaligax. When a battle ensues, Ciran’s brother, Firin, comes to their rescue.
With the heroes reeling from Sonya’s death, the doors of Yeven’s Shrine open to the upper levels. Adon brings them up to meet the caretaker of the shrine, Tassarion.
